Fees are the same for in-person and online sessions. At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations are charged the full session fee.

Out-of-network benefits

Many plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network outpatient mental-health care. If yours does, you pay me directly and submit the monthly superbill to your insurer, who reimburses you according to your plan's terms. Coverage varies significantly between plans, so checking the specifics before you begin will save surprises later.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for services. I provide this in writing before treatment begins, and you can request an updated estimate at any point.

Frequently asked questions

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is made at the time of the session, and I can provide a monthly superbill — an itemized receipt — that you submit to your insurer if your plan includes out-of-network mental-health benefits. Reimbursement rates vary widely, so it is worth checking with your plan before you begin.
